# Terms of Use
**Effective Date:** June 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the OMAD AI mobile application (“OMAD AI”, “the App”) provided by Dustin Spyra (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
## 1. Description of the Service
OMAD AI is a personal wellness application focused on one-meal-a-day (OMAD) and intermittent fasting habits, nutrition awareness, and weight tracking.
By using the App, you can:
- Track fasting and eating windows with a fasting timer
- Log meals and optionally scan or describe meals to receive AI-generated nutrition estimates
- Track protein and optional macros (kilocalories, carbohydrates, net carbohydrates, fat, fiber)
- Log and chart body weight over time
- Follow habit streaks and personalized targets based on information you provide during onboarding
- Receive optional push reminders related to your subscription trial (if enabled)
The App uses anonymous authentication for service access, usage tracking, and abuse protection. It does not require you to create a username and password.
OMAD AI is intended for personal, non-commercial wellness use only.
## 2. In-App Purchases (Apple App Store and Google Play)
OMAD AI offers paid access through the in-app purchase systems provided by Apple and/or Google.
Available purchase options may include:
- **OMAD AI Pro Subscription (weekly)** — auto-renewing subscription
- **OMAD AI Pro Subscription (yearly)** — auto-renewing subscription
A free trial may be offered for eligible new subscribers. Trial length and eligibility are shown in the store before purchase.
Prices may vary by region and are displayed in the store before you confirm a purchase.
## 3. Subscription Terms (Auto-Renewing)
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled.
### Apple (App Store)
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account after confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription under **Settings → Subscriptions** on your device (or via your Apple ID account settings).
### Google (Google Play)
- Payment is charged to your Google account after confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the end of the current billing period, according to Google Play subscription rules.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in Google Play subscription settings.
## 4. Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple and/or Google through their respective stores. We do not process payments or refunds directly.
**Apple refunds:** You can request a refund from Apple at <https://reportaproblem.apple.com/>
**Google Play refunds:** Refund eligibility depends on the purchase type and timing and is handled by Google. Review or request refunds via Google Play purchase history and Google’s refund flows.
## 5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use OMAD AI only for lawful purposes.
You may not:
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or misuse the App
- Interfere with the operation or security of the App or its services
- Use the App in ways that could harm the service, other users, or yourself
- Submit unlawful, abusive, or infringing content through meal descriptions, images, or other inputs
## 6. Health, Nutrition, and Fasting Disclaimer
**OMAD AI does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.**
The App offers general wellness tools and AI-generated nutrition estimates. It is not a substitute for professional medical, dietary, or mental health advice.
- Fasting, calorie targets, and weight goals affect people differently. Results are not guaranteed.
- AI meal analysis and macro estimates are approximate and may be inaccurate. Do not rely on them for medical decisions, allergy management, or clinical nutrition.
- **Consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting or changing a fasting routine, diet, or weight-loss plan**, especially if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, under 18, have a history of eating disorders, take prescription medication (including diabetes or blood pressure medication), or have any medical condition.
- Stop using fasting or dietary changes recommended by the App and seek medical advice if you experience dizziness, fainting, extreme fatigue, or other concerning symptoms.
- OMAD AI is not designed for the treatment of eating disorders. If you are struggling with disordered eating, contact a qualified healthcare provider.
## 7. Limitation of Liability
OMAD AI is provided **“as is”** without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for:
- Loss of data
- Interruptions of service
- Health outcomes, weight changes, or fasting-related effects
- Decisions made based on information, targets, or estimates provided by the App
- Inaccuracies, omissions, or errors in AI-generated meal analysis or personalized suggestions
We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
## 8. Changes to the Service
We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the App at any time.
We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The effective date at the top of this document will be revised when material changes are made.
## 9. Termination
We reserve the right to discontinue or modify the App at any time.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it and canceling any active subscription through your store account.
